Dell Inspiron 15 Review

Dell Inspiron 15 is the new laptop announced by Dell which has many good features for users as well as it is worth buying. Dell Laptops are a good choice for money always. Dell Has changed the look of the laptop from silver bezel to glossy black which is really looking stunning. It has a glossy screen size of 15.6-inch and a maximum screen resolution of 1366×768. The build quality is quiet decent. It is one of the strong contenders in the market today for entry level laptops.

The laptop is only 1.02 inch thick and powered by a Core 2 Duo T6400 2.0 GHz processor, 2MB L2 cache 800Mhz FSB, standard memory is 2GB, memory type DDR2 800 MHz and internal drive is 250GB SATA which makes the laptop configuration one of the best in the market. The OS of the laptop is Windows Vista Home Basic. It also features DVD+/-RW Super Multi with Double Layer Fixed, display type is TFT, hard disk speed is 5400 rpm, display size is 15.6″ WXGA Wide Screen TFT Display with TrueLife, Intel Graphics Media Graphics Accelerator 4500MHD, integrated with 1.3 mp web camera, headphone and microphone jack for audio ports  and multicard reader . It is well equipped with Intel® Wireless LAN 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth 2.0+ and Integrated 10/100 BASE-T Ethernet LAN network interface. It offers 3 USB v2.0 ports and a standard Consumer Infrared port by which you can navigate through music, videos and files with travel remote control available. Total weight of the laptop is 2.64 kg.

Overall it’s an average performance laptop with all the necessary features.  It has a battery life of 2 hrs 35 mins which is as expected from a 3-cell battery. The available colors for this are Ruby Red, Jet Black or Midnight Blue colors. Usability is good, the look is nice, screen, keyboard and touchpad is very good. It’s a balance between the price and performance.

Finally, it’s a good decent budget laptop which is priced at around Rs. 33,899/-
